Hartl wins at the 24 Hour Race in Jänschwalde.
Last week the first GORM (German Offroad Masters) 24 h race was held in the east of Germany. The Libya Rally Raid-Team Unimog with Harald Schumann, Jürgen Neidig, Ulrich Jäger, Martin Gröger and Jürgen Schumann, Götz Beierlein, Martin Hemp und Hartmut Gröger could finally gain the victory in the T4 class after a thrilling and fair fight. The used to win Hummer-Racing-Team could only achieve the 2. place. All participants commended their fair behaviour during the very long race. For example they recovered Uwe Zirbes after he stuck in the woods and the organisation could not manage the rescue him short termed. So they simply hooked his Hummer and pulled him back to the pit to give him the chance to reenter the race. This is promising for an exciting competition on the final GORM run at the Nürburgring on the 11th to 13th of September!
