Pre-tour 2009.You do it again. In the beginning it was the enthusiasm about the tracks we were driving. "Fantastic, beautiful". After the fifth stage he was missing the words. "You did it again!" Although some highlights were still to come. Many emotions for a cool englishman like Andrew Fewtrell. Libya could impress someone with its beauty of nature. But that´s how we have planned the layout of this rally. Long and fast tracks in constant change with short but difficult ones to have enough time to see the country. The sportive challenge remains the target of the Libya-Rally-Raid. The exact track will be published later. Currently the roadbook is built by Tobias Witt. Already in 2008 he delivered accurate work. Ulli Jäger, the succesful Rally-Raid pilote, checked all stages to usability. Martin Groeger, our enviroment expert, took care of a clean desert. Jürgen Schmitt proved that the tracks could be managed with a truck. Mansour, our Libyan partner of the AANIA agency, mastered all governmental obstacles again. Lorna Fewtrell the lady in our team was our good soul. We had a shave on a regular base and changed clothes more often than normal. So our pretour came out to a wonderful harmonical travel. The campfire in the night, when Andrew got out his guitar, was the place to sum up the incedences of the day. For all taht my deep thanks to the team. You were awesome. To the participants: you will tell your grandchilds about this. To the friends of the desert, who will accompany us on the tourist tour: the tracks are designed for a normal off road vehicle and some specialities are prepared.
