Format of the Rally

Cross Country Rally ("Rally Raid")

Profile of the Race Track

Primarily soft sand and dunes, soft and hard tracks, tarmac on liasons. Overall distance including all liasions will be approximately 5.000 kms (Details are to come up as soon as the track planning is final)

Eligible Vehicles

Motorbikes, Quads, Autos (4x2 or 4x4) and Trucks

Eligible Competitors

Everybody owning a driver's license. No specific race licenses are neccessary.

Entry Fee

• Motorbike (including 1 Team member) = 2.790,- €
• Quad (including 1 Team member) = 2.790,- €
• Auto (including 2 Team members) = 3.990,- €
• Truck (including 2 Team members) = 4.790,- €

Fees for Service Vehicles, Groups etc. upon request. Please call for information and quotes.

Additional Costs

• Satellite phone have to be brought by team on their own due to safety reasons.
• Fuel Costs per Litre in Libya ** = t.b.a.

** Libya has many gas stations, unfortunately these are often closed or do not have fuel available. Our Libyan partner will organize the petrol with own vehicles that the rally could run without any interferences.

Entry Fees includes:

• Insurance like on F.I.A. approved events, covering all costs if the rally is not taking place
• Accident insurance during Special Stages
• 3 Teams of Medical Service (Costs of treatment / repatriation to be covered by each competitors / travelers health insurance)
• Presence of Technical Service (Tool lending / work at reasonable rates)
• Ferry Genova-Tunis-Genova (2 bed cabin)
• 1 night hotel accomodation
• Catering + Water during the Rally
• Visa, border formalities, Carnét de Passage
• Libyan vehicle insurance + license plate(s)
• Recovery of Vehicle to the next Bivouac, Transport of bikes / quads back to Tunis
• Transport of two boxes for spare (max. 80x40x35cm) and two spare wheels for bike and quad entrants
• Shuttle Service for bike and quad riders on the long road sections in Tunesia
• Road Books
